  NCNN Staff Picks-up Edward R. Murrow Award

Several staffers from the North Carolina News Network (NCNN) attended the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) International Conference in New Orleans and received the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award on behalf of NCNN for excellence in electronic journalism. The North Carolina News Network won the award in the Spot News Category for coverage of Hurricane Fran. NCNN covered the storm with a commitment to the people of North Carolina, providing essential information to the public.
