Only 14 of the awards were given and went to WRAL alongside PBS, NBC News, HBO and NPR among others.02/15/2007MIX 101.5 and WCMC-FM crest the $1 million mark with the 2007 Radiothon for the Kids at Duke Children’s Hospital. The $1,004,591.99 total marked the first time MIX hit the $1 million mark in the 13 year history of the event, putting them into an exclusive nationwide club. There are only 16 stations nationwide in the $1 million category, and MIX 101.5 is by far in the smallest market of the group.03/25/2007CBC purchases the Rocky Mount Mills in Rocky Mount, NC. The property includes 300,000 square feet of mill & factory space, some 30 mill houses, vacant lots and open land totaling 50-60 acres.
