Individual tickets for all Durham Bulls home games and USA Baseball games went on sale starting Wednesday, March 1st at www.durhambulls.com. Tickets go on sale at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park box office and by phone at 9:00am on Wednesday, March 8th. Plus, if 10 or more tickets are ordered from March 1st until March 8th, the buyer will receive a free jersey t-shirt.
The Bulls set a paid attendance record in 2005 with 520,371 tickets, so people are encouraged to purchase early. Fans can select their seat using the interactive seating chart online. Additionally, season tickets, mini plans, groups, picnics and birthday parties are available now.
Along with fan favorites such as Pepsi Kids Run the Bases on Sundays and 18 fireworks shows this summer, the Bulls should have some of the top prospects in the minor leagues on the field. That group includes shortstop B.J. Upton and 2005 Minor League Player of the Year, Delmon Young. 2006 marks the first season under skipper John Tamargo, who takes over for longtime Bulls Manager Bill Evers.
The Durham Bulls open the home season against the Toledo Mudhens on Friday, April 14th at 7:00pm. The Bulls accept Visa, Discover, Diner’s Club, American Express or Mastercard. For more information, contact the Durham Bulls at (919) 956-BULL.
