The State Fair is in full swing, and Capitol Broadcasting’s Triangle stations are right in the middle of it. CBC’s tent stands in its usual spot beside Dorton Arena, and personalities and friends are on hand to welcome fair goers.
WRAL-TV anchors, reporters & meteorologists are signing autographs every day of the fair. WRAL.com is your headquarters for the State Fair with videos, photos, stories & more. WRAL viewers can participate in photo & story contests online.

WRAL-FM MIX 101.5 will also have personalities on hand to greet fair goers several different days during the fair. MIX will be distributing prize patch stickers, then walking through the fair and giving out $10 bucks to random people wearing the MIX prize patch. WRAL-FM is also be featuring their HD-2 signal on a high definition radio.
FOX 50’s Big Red FOX BOX has a home in the tent, where visitors can record their own messages and maybe see them on the Internet later. CBC’s newest station, 99.9 The Fan, has a presence in the tent as well.
The 2007 State Fair runs from Oct 12 – 21.
