Jim Goodmon Presented the Visionary Award from Downtown Durham, Inc.
On Tuesday, October 12, Downtown Durham, Inc. presented Capitol Broadcasting Company’s CEO and President Jim Goodmon with their Visionary Award for 1999. This award is presented to an individual whose vision has had a tremendous and positive impact on Durham’s downtown district.
Goodmon was honored for his belief in the future of downtown Durham and his willingness to participate actively in shaping its future. He received this award for both the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the Diamondview Office complex, located in the downtown thus reinforcing the notion that Durham’s downtown is a good investment and a sound business decision.
