14th Annual Midsouth Regional EMMY Award Nomination

CBC stations received 25 total nominations for The Nashville/Midsouth Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) 14th Annual Midsouth Regional EMMY Awards. WRAL-TV piled up 22 Emmy nominations, including a nomination in the coveted News Excellence category and WRAZ was nominated in three categories. The nominations were announced in Nashville on Friday, November 26, where it was also formally announced that Jim Goodmon will receive the Governors’ Award for Lifetime Achievement. The awards will be granted at a banquet at the Opryland Hotel on February 5, 2000.
