Dwayne Ballen Joins The FOX 50 Ten O’Clock News
RALEIGH/DURHAM – DWAYNE BALLEN will be joining the FOX 50 Ten O’clock News as the FOX 50 Sports Anchor beginning Monday, November 6, 2000. Mr. Ballen joins co-anchors CULLEN BROWDER, LYNDA LOVELAND, and weather anchor LEON SMITHERMAN as a part of the FOX 50 Ten O’clock News anchor team.
An award winning sports journalist, Mr. Ballen has previously covered sports for The Golf Channel, FOX Sports, and the CBS Sports Network.
“We are thrilled to have Dwayne join our FOX 50 news team,” said WRAL News Director Andrea Parquet-Taylor. “Dwayne is a savvy sports anchor with a tremendous knowledge of North Carolina sports.”

Mr. Ballen is a long-time resident of Durham, North Carolina.
