Microspace Repeats Uplinker Award

Microspace Communications has again won the “Uplinker of the Year” Award from Loral Skynet. In a presentation made at the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas in April, Loral Skynet bestowed a Silver Medal Uplinker award on the Raleigh-based satellite provider for 334 perfect uplinks in 2000.

Microspace received a Silver Medal for 334 perfect uplinks in 2000.

Each year, Loral Skynet presents awards recognizing customers for problem-free satellite accesses of its satellite fleet. Last year Microspace received an Uplinker award on the bronze level.

“This award is the result of the hard work and dedication of our Video Services team. They take great pride in their efforts and are among the best in the business,” said Microspace Vice President & General Manager Joe Amor. “The entire staff is proud of their recognition.”

Loral Skynet is a leading satellite communications services provider and operates the Telstar fleet. Customers lease transponder capacity to distribute their services.
