“The Legal Line” with attorney Thom Goolsby has returned to WILM-TV’s airwaves beginning Sunday, July 14, 2002, at 11:30am. The live call-in show is a local production by the station. Featuring local attorney, Currin Law Firm Managing Partner Thom Goolsby, “The Legal Line” provides an opportunity for viewers to get free legal advice.
“The show has been off the air for about a year and we are pleased to announce that on its first day back on the air the phones were ringing off the hook and that calls continued to come in after the show was over,” said WILM General Manager Connie Knox.
“The Legal Line” started at WILM several years ago, predating Capitol Broadcasting Company’s purchase of the Wilmington station. Viewers call in live and talk with Goolsby on a variety of subjects, everything from child custody to how to get the neighbors tree off someone’s fence to how to get out of a DUI.
