|Bulls Break Record For Season Paid Attendance|
The Bulls not only broke this record, they had their first-ever Sunday sell-out of 10,007 paid admissions that same weekend. They also had the best Friday-Saturday-Sunday weekend in the team’s history with 30,249 paid admissions.
Now the Bulls are on track to post paid attendance of 500,000 when they play their last regular season game next Saturday, September 1. Only 10 minor league teams in the nation have achieved this milestone.
Durham Bulls General Manager George Habel said, “Our staff deserves the credit for an exceptionally aggressive ticket sales effort and a strong promotional plan this year.”
