Triangle residents are asked to drop off financial donations. Huge |
collection boxes will be at each location. Appointments may be set to give blood and as a gesture of patriotism, American Flags will be distributed.
All financial donations will go directly to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which will in turn help the victims and families of the recent attack on America.
This collection effort will launch a longer collection campaign. Those who cannot donate on September 13th are asked to send their donations to the American Red Cross. Attention: Disaster Relief Fund. 100 North Peartree Lane. Raleigh, North Carolina, 27610. Make checks payable to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, and in the memo section of the check write, “WRAL- Relief Fund.”
This effort is being organized by the Triangle Area Chapter of the American Red Cross and several Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc. divisions: MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM, WRAL-TV5, WRAZ FOX 50, and the Durham Bulls.
