WRAL-TV To Offer Expansive Coverage of NCAA Tournament

For the third year running, WRAL-TV will offer all of the 63 NCAA games on CBS between its analog and digital channels. NCAA coverage begins this Thursday, March 14th, with the Kentucky-Valpariso matchup in the East, the Oklahoma State-Kent State matchup in the South and the Miami-Missouri matchup in the West at 12:25pm on Thursday, March 14.

NC State’s Anthony Grundy will take the court with the #7 seed Wolfpack on Friday.

With the capabilities offered by its additional digital channels, WRAL-TV will broadcast as many as four simultaneous games during the first and second round.

As during the ACC Tournament in early March, WRAL-TV will air post-game news conferences on the NewsChannel during the NCAA Tournament.

CBS will offer nine early-round games in high-definition (HD) this year, and WRAL-TV will offer those HD broadcasts via sister station FOX50 on WRAZ’ digital channel 49.

The Final Four and Championship games will be broadcast in HD. These games will be simulcast on WRAL-TV and WRAL-DT.

Check WRAL.com for games times and channels for Second Round, Sweet 16, Elite Eight, Final Four and the National Championship.
