MIX 101.5 Morning Show Personalities Host NASCAR Hero |

MIX 101.5 morning show co-hosts Bill Jordan and Sheri Logan got a chance to meet a special NASCAR visitor. The two participated in a promotion with driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. at the Belks in the new Streets of Southpoint Mall in Durham on Wednesday, March 20, 2002.
Earnhardt autographed and personalized bottles of the men’s fragrance Drakar Noir for the first 300 customers to purchase one that day. Several hundred people showed up to see Earnhardt, and many arrived early in the morning to purchase the cologne to ensure an autograph from the NASCAR star. Earnhardt began autographing a little after 6:00pm.
“When he came out, the place went crazy,” said MIX 101.5’s Bill Jordan. “He loves meeting the fans and doing autograph things. He talked to every person that came through the line.”
