Reckerd Participates on AWRT Panel


CBC’s Jerry Reckerd took part in a panel discussion at the latest AWRT meeting.

CBC Director of Business Development and Wolfpack Sport Marketing General Manager Jerry Reckerd participated on a panel for the monthly meeting of the Triangle Chapter of American Women in Radio & Television. He and AOL Time Warner’s David Smith and Clear Channel’s Chris Jones spoke to the membership about “Cross Platform Selling.” The luncheon was held at 11:30am on Wednesday, April 17, at Sister’s Catering in North Raleigh.

Reckerd spoke about the burgeoning concept of cross platform selling and its applications in the business world.


As part of the panel, Reckerd (right) talked about the ways to use cross platform selling effectively.

One person can combine the strengths of multimedia approaches with cross platform selling, and local companies are using the idea to capitalize on the recent mergers and acquisitions in advertising and marketing.

The panel took questions from the crowd, a good portion of which were sales staff from WRAL-TV, WRAL-FM and FOX 50.
