Bulls Sponsor Kid’s Sport Fair |
The Durham Bulls paired with Carolina Parent, a Triangle publication, to sponsor a Kid’s Sports Fair at the ballpark on Sunday, March 24, 2002. From noon to 4:00pm, families participated in a variety of activities and got a chance to check out exhibitors for summer camps, kids fitness programs and more.

A brand new event, the Kid’s Sports Fair brought an estimated 1,000 – 1,200 parents and kids to the ballpark. The Bulls unveiled their new Kid’s Play Area at the event, and Wool E. Bull visited with the crowd and hosted the Durham Bulls Speed Pitch and inflatable mountain.

Carolina Parent is a monthly magazine and is the primary source of information for Triangle families with children from newborn through teens. MIX 101.5, Capitol Broadcasting Company’s radio station, helped promote the event and participated in the day’s activities.
The Kid’s Sports Fair was free and open to the public.
