StormTrack 2002 To Help Prepare Triangle Residents for Hurricane Season |
WRAL-TV 5 News will present StormTrack 2002, a guide to hurricane preparedness, Friday, June 21 at 7pm. WRAL-TV Anchor David Crabtree and Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel will walk viewers through the steps of what they need to know before, during and after a storm.
The special will also discuss how to help our children cope when a hurricane is approaching, how difficult evacuating our coastline is, how the state is ready to respond to weather emergencies, and how to return home safely. They will even go along with the famous Hurricane Hunters as they fly a training mission into the eye of a storm.
