Colony Homes & McDonald’s Help Support Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League |
Colony Homes and McDonald’s are joining the Durham Bulls in a special promotion to benefit the Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League (DBYAL) and the Ronald McDonald House. In Fourth Inning “Come on Home” promotion Colony Homes has promised a donation of $50 or more to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) for every run scored by the Bulls during the fourth inning.
Colony Homes will donate a total of $5,000 to RMHC through this promotion. A baseball “toss” at the beginning of each game will determine the amount donated for each run that night. Colony Homes will also donate $1,500 to the DBYAL for a grand total of $6,500 going to charity.
McDonald’s is joining in the giving as well. Bag stuffers available at Triangle McDonald’s restaurants will provide Bulls fans with information about the DBYAL and help promote the worthy cause. With this “Team Offer” youth team members can receive a $3.50 ticket for a Durham Bulls game and a coupon for free ice cream cone from McDonald’s.
Through the DBYAL, the Bulls are raising funds for a “Field of Dreams,” a renovation project for two baseball fields in Northeast Central Durham. The “Field of Dreams” will become the new home for the league once complete.
