The 23rd annual Messiah Sing-In scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2002, at the Edenton Street United Methodist Church in downtown Raleigh at 8:00pm has been postponed. Capitol Broadcasting Company sponsors this annual event.
WRAL-TV Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel will emcee and singers from the North Carolina Opera Company will serve as soloists. For the first time, the organ will accompany the performance rather than the North Carolina Symphony.
The concert is open to the public. The Urban Ministry Center will be on hand collecting canned goods at the door, the only admission required.
