Microspace Recognized on Content 500 List

Microspace made the SkyREPORT Daily update on Tuesday, July 1, 2003, for its inclusion on Content World’s Content 500. Leading digital content creation and distribution companies comprise the list.

Content World included Microspace in the list because of the reliability and cost savings of its Velocity satellite-delivery service.

The Content 500 recognizes the key stakeholders in digital content creation, management, distribution, and presentation. It is the most comprehensive listing of the major content creation/distribution organizations as well as those technology and infrastructure companies that provide tools and services.

Content 500 maintains that making the list denotes a company’s market potential and projected share of its key target markets. The list includes start-ups, spin-outs, reverse mergers and blue chip companies.

“The digital content market place has expanded rapidly,” states the Content World Website. “A mere five years ago, substantial amounts of content were still being created in analog formats. Today, virtually all content is created digitally. Business and non-profit organizations have spent several trillion dollars in building a digital content infrastructure. More and more businesses are realizing that in order to compete in today’s economy they must employ sophisticated digital content techniques and technologies in order to sell their products and educate their customers and workforces.”
