The Triangle Chapter of American Women in Radio & Television held its 4th Annual Fall Premiere on Thursday, August 21, 2003. WRAL-TV Account Executive Pamela Wynn chaired the event, a venue that gives the television stations and cable in the Raleigh-Durham market the opportunity to unveil their new fall programming to the advertising community.

“She spoke about how far women have come in the electronic industry and discussed the opportunities available at NCSU for continuing education,” said Wynn. “She was funny, inspiring as well as enlightening.”

CBC Vice President of Human Resources Jan Sharp recently won re-election to the National AWRT Board. Sharp will once again serve as Director, for 2003-2004. She helped launch the Triangle Chapter of the AWRT, serving as its first President.

“I could not have pulled this off without my WRAL/CBC family,” said Wynn. “WRAL-TV Post Production Supervisor Steve Elizondo helped produce the video presentation, WRAL-TV Studio Broadcast Engineer Charles Braswell gave us technical support at the event, WRAL-TV Account Executive Michelle Coats assisted with the decorations, CBC Property Manager Tim Grissom & Asst Property Manager Rodney Collier assisted with the floral arrangements and CBC HR Administrator Angie Emerline did a terrific job with the print materials.

“Everyone had a wonderful time. It was the best premiere to date.”
