WRAL-TV To Light Tower for Holidays |
As has become an annual tradition, WRAL-TV will turn its 300 foot television tower into a giant Christmas tree on Monday, December 1, 2003. This year, WRAL will count down to its 44th annual tower lighting with a half-hour special hosted by Anchors David Crabtree, Pam Saulsby, Gerald Owens and Debra Morgan.
WRAL plans for an evening full of music, the holiday spirit and a look back at the long history of Christmas traditions at CBC. Musical guests include the St. Francis Brass Band, of which WRAL-TV Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel is a member, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Children’s Choir. WRAL will light the tower this year around 7:20 pm.
The entire special will be outdoors, weather permitting. The tower lighting is free and open to the public.
