Triangle Holiday Musical Tradition to Continue

Messiah Sing-In
Edenten Street Methodist will host the 24th Annual Messiah Sing-In.

The 24th Annual Messiah Sing-In will take place at Edenton Street United Methodist Church in downtown Raleigh this Friday, December 5, 2003, at 8pm. Professional soloists will join an orchestra of NC Symphony members to lead the audience of over 1,000 strong in the singing of Handel’s Messiah.

Capitol Broadcasting Company always contributes to this event and will again be a sponsor.

The event is free and open to the public, but attendees are asked to bring a bag of canned goods and/or any non-perishable food items which will be donated to the Raleigh Urban Missionary Center.

Dr. William J. Weisser, Minister of Music at Edenton Street Methodist, will conduct.

Edenton Street United Methodist Church is located at 228 West Edenton Street in downtown Raleigh, on the corner of Edenton and Dawson streets.
