Gregory Takes Leadership Post for NCAB |

WRAL-FM Vice President & General Manager Ardie Gregory recently began her year as President of the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters, taking over from Rick Jackson of WBT-WLNK of Charlotte. Gregory has served on the NCAB board since 2001.
Gregory has spent her career in radio and became part of the Capitol Broadcasting team in 1986 in Maryland. She worked as General Manager for two CBC radio stations in the Baltimore/Washington area before coming to Raleigh in 1998 to take the helm of WRAL-FM.
Gregory serves on a variety of boards and organizations including the National Advisory Board for Duke Children’s Hospital and the boards for Scenic North Carolina and The Computer Training Partnership. She is an alumnus of Class IX of Leadership North Carolina.
Gregory has led WRAL-FM in becoming the first commercial radio station on the East Coast to be licensed to broadcast HD Radio™ and is also representing media, with law enforcement, to enact the Amber Plan in NC.
