Pelicans Bring Music To Coastal Federal Field |
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are officially announcing two post game concerts for the 2004 baseball season. These post game musical events are the first of its kind at Coastal Federal Field.
The first concert is April 17th following the 6:05 pm game against the Potomac Cannons is sponsored by Coastal Federal Bank. The concert is a celebration of Coastal Federal Bank’s 50th Anniversary.
Advance ticket prices are $5 to $7.50 with game day prices set at $6 to $8.50.
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Long Bay Symphony and Sunny 106.5 will team up to present a baseball, music and fireworks extravaganza for Independence Day. On July 3rd, following the game against the Frederick Keys, the Long Bay Symphony will take the field to perform a post game symphony. Sunny 106.5 is sponsoring the event, which will also feature patriotic-themed fireworks. Scott Jacobs of the Long Bay Symphony invites baseball fans to “join us for a special night with the Long Bay Symphony, who will perform best loved American patriotic music, as well as great pieces from movies like Star Wars, 2001 and Rocky”.
Advance ticket prices are $10 to $12.50 with game day prices set at $11 to $13.50.
Gospel Fest is also on tap for Saturday, July 10th, with local choirs invited to compete. Gospel Fest will take place during the day, with winning choirs invited back to the 7:05 game to sing the National Anthem and 7th inning stretch.
Season tickets, mini ticket packages and group tickets are available by calling the ticket office at (843) 918-6000. Individual game tickets will go on sale on March 13 at the annual Pelican Fest to be held at Coastal Federal Field from 1-4 pm.
