WILM Celebrates Survivor Finale With Party & Prizes |
WILM-TV’s Survivor Slogan contest ended with a bang on Sunday night, May 9, 2004. WILM ran a contest in which viewers watched Survivor every week to get a new slogan and then emailed or mailed their entries to enter to qualify for four outstanding grand prizes. Two qualifiers were randomly drawn each week culminating to the Survivor Finale Party.

On Sunday, during the Survivor finale, WILM held a party at Shell Island Resort in Wrightsville Beach complete with a free buffet and decorations, plus an awesome view of the beach! During the party, Survivor fans were given the opportunity to eat chocolate covered crickets and larvae and also alligator!
Almost every single person in attendance, including WILM’s own Account Executive Shana MacEwan, was brave enough to try the delicacies. Lots of great prizes including DVDs, T-shirts, gym memberships and gift certificates were given out throughout the night.
