One grand prize winner will win a trip to Las Vegas to audition for the producers of “American Idol.” The grand prize includes airfare, hotel accommodations and a scholarship from Barbizon of Raleigh.

Come early and enjoy a live concert performance by local country singer and “FOX 50 Gimme the Mike!” winner Jason Michael Carroll at 6p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. Coolers will not be permitted. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.

The audition event will be hosted by Mix 101.5’s Jim Kelly.
