WRAL-FM Radiothon Raises $726k for Duke Children |

The MIX Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital came to a close on Sunday, September 12th with WRAL-FM Morning Show hosts Bill Jordan and Sheri Logan presenting the hospital with a check for $726, 333.78. For four straight days, volunteers came to Duke Children’s Hospital to answer phones and take pledges from MIX listeners. The impressive amount raised came from MIX listeners only, as there are no corporate sponsors.
Contributing to the success this year was the Change Bandit program. With over 200 Change Bandits for 2004, $18,370.38 in spare change was donated to the Radiothon.
MIX listeners have once again shown their support of Duke Children’s Hospital and made the 11 th Annual Radiothon a tremendous success! Also, an enormous “Well Done” goes out to the MIX 101.5 and Duke Children’s team who made it all happen!
