Fall Leadership Triangle Class Begins with Familiar Faces |

Leadership Triangle kicks off its fall 2004 program today with a group including two CBC’ers and a Fletcher Foundation employee. Corporate HR Administrator Angie Emerline, FOX 50 Research Director Gerald Belton and A.J. Fletcher Foundation Program Coordinator Deremia Johnson are participating in “Will You Lead? II”.
Emerline, Belton and Johnson join a group of 17 others in a seven session study focusing on leadership as it applies to regional issues and enhancing leadership ability. The class will run through mid-December.
Other CBC graduates of “Will You Lead? II” include FOX 50 Operations Supervisor Chris Downey and Corporate Communications Specialist Andrea Osborne.
Leadership Triangle’s original core program “Will You Lead? I” focuses on regional issues and bringing leadership to these issues. CBC graduates of this program include VP of Community Relations Paul Pope, WRAL-TV Anchor Pam Saulsby, NCNN Network Manager Rob Hankin and FOX50 Broadcast Operator Brian Johnson.
Four CBC employees maintain seats on the Leadership Triangle board including: Peter Anlyan, General Manager of the American Tobacco Project; Chris Downey, FOX 50 Operations Supervisor; Paul Pope, VP of Community Relations; and Jim Goodmon, CBC President and CEO.
Capitol Broadcasting Company remains a major sponsor of Leadership Triangle, as does the AJ Fletcher Foundation.
