With so many North Carolina soldiers, sailors and Marines deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom and operations in Afghanistan and elsewhere , many moms and dads may miss important events in their children’s’ lives. Few events are as memorable as seeing your kids on TV.
On several occasions this school year parents have requested copies of their children’s’ appearance on Brain Game, WRAL-TV’s Saturday game show for high school students. Knowing how much it means to these parents, the Brain Game staff is working to accommodate their wishes. We know the sacrifice they’re making means they are indeed missing a lot back home. With a DVD or VHS tape they won’t have to miss this great moment, seeing their kids compete on Brain Game. So far WRAL-TV has sent out about a dozen VHS tapes & DVD’s of Brain Game episodes to members of the military.
