The stage is being set for the finale of Verizon SuperPages Presents FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike!, with only one more set of four singers to vie for a slot in the finals.
On last week’s show, Meagan Lee of Dunn won the judges’ vote to become the fourth finalist to advance to the live one-hour finale on Wednesday, May 25 at 7pm. Lee is a student at Triton High School where she is in her high school chorus class, gospel choir and band, plays the saxophone and is on the color guard. She is also the reigning Teen Miss Erwin/Harnett County.

Bobby Caddell of Durham won the vote of the public, becoming the season’s fourth Wild Card pick. Caddell advances to the live FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike! Wild Card Playoff Show on Tuesday, May 24 at 7:30pm, where he will have an additional chance to showcase his singing abilities for an online Wild Card vote. Caddell is a Durham native and just graduated from NC State with a degree in Business Management.
The final group of four will compete on FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike! on Thursday, May 19th at 7:30pm. Contestants include Chris Daniel of Roanoke Rapids, Vivian Wade of Fayetteville, Barron Maness of Pinehurst and Jenny Guse of Durham.

Verizon SuperPages Presents FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike! will culminate in a one-hour live season finale Wednesday, May 25 at 7:00pm where one finalist will be awarded the grand prize. The final six are competing for a shot at fame with a trip to New York to audition for record label executives, a performance on Alltel Pavilion’s second stage for one show this summer, and a demo from Osceola Recording Studios in Raleigh.
