The Durham Bulls hosted a very distinguished visitor on July 15 & 16, 2005. Baseball Hall of Fame member Phil Niekro, renowned for his knuckle ball, spent two evenings at the DBAP. He signed autographs, spent time in the clubhouse and fielded media interviews.
