AJFF Director of Business Development Suzie Koonce |
The third annual “Will You Lead? II” fall program for Leadership Triangle is underway, and another CBC’er is among the selected participants. A.J. Fletcher Foundation’s Suzie Koonce, the Director of Business Development, is one of twenty Triangle citizens taking part in the personal leadership program. Koonce works directly with the Philanthropy Journal at the AJFF.
Koonce and her classmates will spend one day every two weeks in training which began on Thursday, September 22, 2005. Classes will take place at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park’s Corporate Suites.
“The Personal Leadership Program helps participants develop individual leadership skills by matching them with nationally recognized leadership coaches and introducing them to top Triangle leaders,” explains Leadership Triangle program literature. “Unlike most leadership programs, each participant has a highly customized experience working with a leadership coach in a small group setting for over two hours, in each class.”
Other CBC graduates of Leadership Triangle’s “Will You Lead? II” program include FOX 50’s Chris Downey and Gerald Belton, Corporate’s Angie Emerline and Andrea Osborne, and AJFF’s Deremia Johnson.
BC President & CEO Jim Goodmon is chair of the Leadership Triangle Board, and both CBC and the AJFF are sponsors of the organization. Downey & WRAL-FM’s Karen Cates also serve on the board.
