Open Auditions for an All-New Season of FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike!

FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike! presented by Verizon Yellow Pages is back for an all-new season, and is searching for all-new singing talent!
Open auditions for the show’s third season are Saturday February 4th from 11 am to 5pm and Sunday, February 5th from 12 noon to 4pm at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh.

FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike!, the only local television singing competition, turns the spotlight on some of the most talented vocalists around.
Twenty contestants selected solely from these open auditions will have the opportunity to sing on television and compete for the grand prize.
Getting discovered is the first step to a career in the music industry.
You can’t buy this kind of exposure.
Season One FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike! Grand Prize Winner Jason Michael Carroll has come a long way in his music career since appearing on the show. He signed with major record label RCA and is set to release his first album this summer.
Last year’s FOX 50’s Gimme the Mike! Grand Prize Winner Erica Davidson performed on the side stage of last year’s Gladys Knight concert and says the show gave her an opportunity she never thought would be possible: to revive her musical career, write and professionally record her own music on a demo.
This year’s grand prize includes: a demo from Osceola Studios, opening for a national act at the Longbranch Entertainment Complex, a side stage performance at Alltel Pavilion, and consultation with major management firm Murphy to Manteo.
Auditions are open to North Carolina residents 16 years of age or older who live within the FOX 50 viewing area. At the auditions, singers should arrive prepared to perform a song a cappella for up to 60 seconds. Complete rules and the official registration form are available at www.fox50.com.
