MIX 101.5 Supports Hoops for Hope

Hoops for Hope logo MIX 101.5 has joined efforts with Wolfpack Sports Marketing to help promote Hoops for Hope. Bill Jordan from MIX 101.5 FM will be the master of ceremonies during the Hoops for Hope half-time show and New Balance Stores, a client of MIX 101.5 Account Executive, Sue Schenker, is now a ticket outlet.

According to Brenda Steen of Wolfpack Sports Marketing, help from within CBC is greatly appreciated, and makes so much sense. “We are attempting to reach a similar audience and the partnership with MIX is a perfect fit for us while trying to fill the seats in Reynolds Coliseum for Hoops for Hope.”

Bill Jordan from MIX 101.5 says he is looking forward to being a part of this day of celebration and hope. “Everybody’s been touched by breast cancer in one way or another. This is an event I am honored to help with.”

Hoops for Hope will take place around a regularly scheduled women’s basketball game when the Wolfpack women take on Maryland, but this basketball game will be more than a typical college women’s basketball game. This basketball game is a one of a kind fundraising event to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, NC Triangle Affiliate.

Breast cancer survivors will be recognized at half-time and fans will be given a FREE pink t-shirt (while supplies last) to show their support for the survivors and Coach Yow.

Hoops for Hope tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth (17 and under). $5 of each ticket sold will go directly to the local Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For more information visit GoPack.com or call the ticket office at 1-800-310-PACK.

Thanks to WSM’s Brenda Steen for this capcom story.
