Bulls Announce Open Auditions for PA Announcer |
The Durham Bulls will hold auditions to be the back-up public address announcer for the 2006 baseball season on Saturday, March 4th at 10:00am at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Longtime PA Announcer Bill Law earlier this year announced he would be stepping down following the 2006 season. The back-up PA Announcer will serve as Law’s understudy this season with an opportunity to serve as the full-time announcer in 2007.
“This will be the first audition we’ve held at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park,” General Manager Mike Birling said. “Since Bill Law didn’t miss a game since 1995, we’ve never had a need for this before. It should be a fun day.”
The Bulls are looking for someone with experience in broadcasting or entertainment for the position. Anyone interested in auditioning should contact the Durham Bulls Promotions Department at (919) 687-6516 to schedule an appointment.
