Lucy Sumner, a mom and clinical data associate from Chapel Hill. Lucy is originally from Puerto Rico and says she learned English working at the Jaycee Burn Center. She enjoys canoeing, quilting and spending time with her 3 girls. She’s just gone back to work full-time after being a stay at home mom for 12 years. |
Josh Barber, a vocal performance graduate from Benson. Josh describes himself as a “confident, friendly introvert” who loves video games and Spiderman. He has a strong desire to do mission work and says he’d like to study art, music, literature, chemistry, mathematics, medicine, physics and language as a sort of contemporary renaissance man. |
Tamieka Lee, a mom and Liberty University student from Fayetteville. Tamieka recently put on a dinner club cafe at her church and says she’d love to open a dinner club of her own where performers can sing, network and share their talent. She loves writing music and says one of her proudest moments was performing on the Apollo stage in New York City. |
Jordan Mericle, a Sanderson High School student from Raleigh. A self-proclaimed “book worm,” Jordan admits there are times she’d rather stay home with a good book than party with friends. At school, Jordan’s favorite classes are chorus, theater, English and history. She stays busy performing in her school choir, church band and Triangle show choir “The Capital Ambassadors.” |
