Have questions about Alive After Five and the new location? The FAQS below are just what you need.
Click on the map above for a larger version of the map of the new Alive After Five location.
Alive After Five has moved?
Yes, due to the construction on Fayetteville Street Mall, we have moved Alive After Five to 510 Glenwood in the Heart of Glenwood South.
Is the “no coolers” policy true?
Yes. The “no coolers” policy was a difficult decision for many reasons. Since the convention center construction necessitated our move to a new location, we had to make a number of adjustments and overall changes based on the new venue. ALIVE AFTER FIVE is now located on a city street (instead of the Civic Center Plaza) and the logistics and new liability issues are on a much larger scale.
Can we bring our own beverages, without being in a cooler?
No. There will be no alcoholic beverages of any kind allowed in from outside the event. Beverages will be available for purchase at the event as well as items from the menus of the restaurants located at the event.
Where do I park?
There are over 900 spaces in two parking decks on Glenwood South, plus ample street parking. See the map for locations.
What time should I get there?
The bands will take stage at approximately 6:30pm but get there early and enjoy the many dining options that are just steps away.
