WRAL-TV has once again come home with multiple Regional Emmys Awards.
The Triangle’s news leader nabbed 3 statuettes at the 21st Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards at a ceremony on Saturday, January 27, 2007.
A formal dinner and awards presentation took place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville.
The Northwest Chapter, based in Seattle, judged this years entries.
And the winners are:
WRAL-TV newcomer Shan Zhong won an Emmy at the ceremony as well. He is now a part of the WRAL team as Lead Designer & Animation Specialist. He brought home an award for Graphic Arts for a composite of his work for Shan Zhong Designs. He was nominated for Animation as well.

WRAL-TV earned an impressive 20 nominations in the overall competition. Almost 700 entries were received but only 267 nominations made in 59 categories. For a list of WRAL’s nominations, visit the link below:
