After an 11-year run as the home run stealing barrier in left field at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, the blue monster is no more. But like all monsters, you better believe it will be back!
Demolition crews tore down the 32-foot high wall this past week as the first step in a massive construction project at the ballpark. The new wall is currently being built to include a state-of-the-art video board nearly three times larger than the old centerfield board. The wall and video board are expected to be finished in time for Opening Day on April 5th.
