Molly Grantham News Anchor for WBTV News 3 at Ten on WJZY

WJZY CW46 announced today that WBTV weekend news anchor Molly Grantham has been named lead anchor for the weeknight edition of WBTV News 3 at Ten on WJZY, effective immediately.
Prior to joining WBTV-TV in 2003, Grantham worked at WLEX-TV in Lexington , Kentucky, WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and the Australian Broadcast Corporation in Sydney, Australia . While at WTVD, she won an Emmy Award for helping produce a local high school football show. In 2006, she won an Emmy Award for her feature series called “Touchy Situation’s” and was nominated for one after her investigation into a minister’s double life. She was also nominated for the national Nancy Dickerson Whitehead Award for Excellence in Reporting for her hour-long special entitled ” The Sobering Truth: Underage Drinking in Charlotte .”
