WRAL-TV & NAACP Partner on Gubernatorial Candidate Forum
|
WRAL-TV is continuing its mission of bringing candidates and issues to our viewers during the 2008 election year. As part of that commitment, the station is embarking on a co-venture with the state chapter of the NAACP, a forum for the candidates for N.C. Governor.
The four major candidates, Bev Perdue, Richard Moore, Robert Orr and Dennis Nielsen have signed on to participate in the 2008 NC NAACP Gubernatorial Candidate Forum. The taping will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 3pm at the Union Baptists Church in Durham. The one-hour forum will then air on four of Capitol Broadcasting Company’s television stations.

NAACP and its over 70 coalition partners took to the N.C. legislature last year as part of Historic Thousands on Jones Street in Raleigh (HKonJ) and will take back this year with HKonJ on February 9th.
