NCNN Named Outstanding News Operation by NC Associated Press

The North Carolina Associated Press Broadcasters (NCAPB) handed out their 2008 awards, and the North Carolina News Network came home with an armload. NCNN won Outstanding News Operation and seven additional top honors as well as two honorable mentions.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, April 19th at their annual convention at Elon University. NCNN News Director Ellen Reinhardt attended and accepted the awards on behalf of the network.
NCNN brought home the first place following awards:
