WRAL-TV News Photographer Geof Levine |
WRAL-TV News Photographer Geof Levine recently won top honors from the National Press Photographers Association. He received the Region 10 Photographer of the Year for work he did at KGUN-TV in Tucson, Arizona. Levine joined the staff of WRAL-TV in late September 2007.
“An award like this is exactly made for a person like Geof Levine,” said WRAL-TV Chief Photographer Ed Wilson. “He’s conscientious, he loves what he does, and he wants to be the best photographer he can be. He just wants to be a good photographer.”
A native of Rogers, Arkansas, Levine graduated from the University of the Ozarks in Clarkesville, Arkansas in 1997. While working in the promotion department at WCTI in New Bern, NC, Levine was offered the position of Chief Photographer in July 2003. He later trekked to Arizona before ending up back in NC at WRAL.
