Bull Durham 20th Anniversary Celebrated in Press

June 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of the debut of the now-classic movie Bull Durham in theatres nationwide. Much of the film was shot at the old Durham Athletic Park in downtown and based on fictional Durham Bulls minor league player Crash Davis.
The movie, starring Kevin Costner, Tim Robbins & Susan Sarandon, made quite a splash, and is now being celebrated during its anniversary week. Check out these articles:

A Local Take on the Film & Its Impact on Durham
Kevin Costner will be coming to the DBAP on July 4th for a special concert with his band, Modern West. Gates open at 5:30pm for the 7:05pm concert. The event will be followed by an Independence Day fireworks display. Tickets.
