99.9 FM “The Fan” is proud to announce that Larry McReynolds, Stock Car Racing Hall of Famer Crew Chief, has joined their radio lineup. During his career, McReynolds won 23 NASCAR Winston Cup races and had 21 Winston Cup Pole position wins. Listeners can catch McReynolds and The Fanatics Friday mornings at 8:05am.
“We are very excited to have McReynolds join us on the radio,” said Mike Morgan, General Manager of 99.9 FM “The Fan.” “He is one of the most decorated and recognized crew chiefs in the business. His racing insight will give listeners an in-depth analysis of the latest NASCAR news every week.
Larry McReynolds started his NASCAR career back in 1975 and has become one of the most successful crew chiefs in the business.
McReynolds brought home two Daytona wins in 1992 and 1998. He also won the UAW-GM Teamwork Award of Excellence. McReynolds was also named all pro crew chief for five consecutive years.
Since 2001, McReynolds has been a NASCAR race analyst for Fox Sports Network and he joined Turner Broadcast System in 2007.
McReynolds is also a founding member of the Crew Chief Club.
