CBS-10 WILM Hosts Annual Upfront Fall Premiere Party

On Thursday, August 21, 2008, CBS 10 WILM held their 7th annual Upfront fall preview party. The evening drew in an impressive array of local clients from all over the Wilmington area to view the upcoming fall line-up set to premiere on CBS beginning September 22nd.
The evening’s festivities were held at Bluewater Grill, a popular favorite among both locals and out-of-town visitors in the Wilmington area, located on the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Guests began their night by sampling some of the areas best food and visiting with fellow business owners from around the community.
The fall premiere presentation, emceed by one of WILM’s own Account Executives, Jenny Grady, showcased the new shows that will begin to air in the fall including, The Eleventh Hour, Worst Week, The Ex-List, Gary Unmarried, and The Mentalist, as well as the mid-season addition of Harper’s Island. Patrons were also allowed to showcase the exciting remainder of the fall schedule during the presentation.

WILM Account Executive, Kim von Brook commented on the night by saying, “We were excited to see so many of our clients coming out for the Fall Preview. We had a great location and some really fantastic shows to present. Jenny Grady did a great job at organizing and emceeing the event.”
Von Brook added, “It was a lot of fun and, overall, a very successful evening!”
At the conclusion of the premiere showcase, a number of lucky guests were awarded with raffle prizes donated by WILM. The evening was a memorable one and a great opportunity for the advertising community to see what is in store for CBS in the upcoming months.
Local Sales Manager, Terry Talbott stated, “It was an overwhelming success. For the first time in seven years we had a standing room only crowd. The feedback from our guests was very flattering and all had a great time. The entire staff of WILM did an outstanding job.”
