MIX Announces All 80’s Weekend for October

MIX 101.5 is going back…back to the 80’s! During the weekend of October 11-12, 2008, you can hear all of your favorite 80’s tunes. Artists that will be played include Prince, Michael Jackson, Huey Lewis, Culture Club, Tina Turner, Hall & Oates, Genesis, Rod Stewart and many more.
“Every time we conduct music research, our audience always tells us 80’s music is their top preference,” said Barry Fox, Program Director of MIX 101.5. “So it makes total sense to dedicate an entire weekend to the decade of big hair, break dancing, and Cabbage Patch Kids.”
MIX has held several 80’s weekends recently and due to their popularity more will come in the near future. MIX 101.5 hopes you enjoy this special programming.
