RTNDAC Honors NCNN with Multiple Awards

The North Carolina News Network continued proving its excellence in radio newscasting by bringing home multiple awards from the recent Radio-Television News Directors Association of the Carolinas (RTNDAC) event in Charlotte. RTNDAC’s annual conference and awards luncheon took place at the Johnson & Wales University Academic Center on Saturday, October 18, 2008.
NCNN won six first place and four second place honors, including sweeping the Consumer/Economic and Investigative categories. NCNN Anchor/Reporter Bruce Ferrell continued his reign as Best Sportscaster as well.
