MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM Hosts 2nd Annual Lipstick Luncheon
Radio Station Presents a Day Out for Women of the Triangle

MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM will host its 2nd Annual Lipstick Luncheon on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in downtown Raleigh. The event will run 10 am to 3 pm.

Lipstick LuncheonBill Jordan and Lynda Loveland of Bill & Lynda in the Morning will kick-off the event which will include a guest speaker, fashion show by Crabtree Valley Mall, medical question and answer session with Rex Healthcare experts, shopping, lunch and more.

Emory Austin will be the Lipstick Luncheon keynote speaker. Austin uses her extraordinary gifts as a storyteller/strategist to open a path for connecting life lessons to practical insights. Austin’s presentations are unforgettable, growth-focused, and delightfully humorous.

Last year’s successful event drew over 450 women from across the Triangle for a day of events and programs that focused on women’s interests and concerns.

Tickets to the Lipstick Luncheon are $25. This price includes lunch and a ‘swag bag.’ Registration for the event begins at 9 am. Tickets can be purchased by printing out the order form at wralfm.com and sending the completed order form with payment to the WRAL-FM studios at 711 Hillsborough Street, PO Box 10100, Raleigh, NC 27605. Tickets may also be purchased online by clicking on the PayPal link, or in person at the WRAL-FM studios at 711 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh.

A portion of all ticket sales will benefit the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s ‘Backpack Buddies Program.’ The ‘Backpack Buddies’ Program is designed to meet the food needs of children when other resources are not available by providing backpacks filled with enough food for six healthy meals and two healthy snacks that children take home on the weekend.
