MIX To Be A Fixture at Southern Women’s Show This Weekend

The Southern Women’s Show will take over the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh this weekend, and MIX 101.5 will be right in the middle of the action.   From Friday, April 24th to Sunday April 26th, women from the Triangle and beyond will descend upon the fairgrounds to learn about everything from creative cooking to trendy fashions. 

Southern Women's ShowFriday, April 24th
Bill Jordan & Lynda Loveland of Bill & Lynda in the Morning will kick-off the event by signing autographs from 10:30am – 12:30pm in the Expo Center as the show opens on Friday morning.  At 11:30am on Friday, Bill & Lynda’s cohort Vanna Fox will feature recipes from MIX listeners live on the cooking stage in the Expo Center.

Come see celebrity mom Katy Gosselin from TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 in a Q&A session hosted by MIX’s Jim Kelly and Jami Caskey at 2:00pm on in the Jim Graham Building.

Cap off Friday with MIX’s Diane Ramsey with a Girls Night Out.  Tickets are $5 after 5pm, and you can enjoy food samples from the Melting Pot and mini makeovers from Lather Hair Salon.  Stop by the MIX Booth at the Expo Center from 5:00-7:00pm for a chance to win 1 of 5 Bailey’s boxes.

Saturday, April 25th
MIX Lynda Loveland will host the Firefighter Bachelor Auction presented by MIX 101.5.  The event benefits the Raleigh Burned Children’s Fund.  Bid for a date from 3:00-4:00pm at the Fashion Stage in the Jim Graham Building.

Sunday, April 26th
MIX’s Diane Ramsey will help cap off the event by hosting the Firefighter Fashion Show presented by MIX 101.5.  The fashion show also benefits the Raleigh Burned Children’s Fund.  It runs 3:00-4:00pm on the Fashion Stage in the Jim Graham Building.
